The people with the oil and gas, the only thing keeping Russia afloat, have a direct line to Putin. The only fluffers are your Russian compatriots. You know this and lash out because you know it's not going Russia's way.
We occupied Iraq and Afghanistan way too long. Initial insurgency we obliterated them and forced the enemy into mountains and other shit holes where they'd occasionally fire RPG or other half assed devices at US troops. One of my groomsmen from my wedding and another friend fought over there for 5 years. Specifically in Afghanistan the locals liked it. It was less dangerous than Chicago. There are more deaths in Ukraine in a year the all of Afghanistan. I guess that's "winning" as Charlie Sheen would say. lol.
