That was a pretty wild exhange between Khanna and the CEO of the CME.
Months, maybe years too late, they’re finally starting to figure it out. A little. Yesterday, the New York Times published a “guest essay” by Ro Khanna with two titles. First, “Ro Khanna: The Alternative to Trump Cannot Be a Defense of Institutions as They Are.” (It was later edited to, “Ro Khanna: Democrats Have a Future. Here It Is.”) It hasn’t even been a month yet, and they are already agreeing with Trump the institutions are rotten.
Behold the shocking admission that Khanna (D-Ca.) made in his second paragraph:
We have to acknowledge what we spectacularly failed to recognize
in the last election that the status quo is broken and Americans
are feeling a righteous anger about the real damage that the
governing class has done to their lives over the past few decades.
Not just what they failed to recognize in the last election. What they spectacularly failed to recognize. And what was it? That we aren’t motivated by petty politics or even revenge; we are motivated by sheer fury. Fury at the governing class.
In other words, at them. We tried to warn them, over and over. But they wouldn’t listen.
Khanna continued in a remarkable passage that showed how —less than a month under President Trump— Democrats are questioning the very foundations of the last twenty years of woke ascendancy:
"Canceling" needs to stop, as does policing language and lecturing
people on exactly how they must express themselves. Without
giving up on our values as a party, we should respect different
ways of life across our vast nation and show humility about our
own prejudices and imperfections.
Don’t worry. They won’t take Khanna’s advice. Based on the comments, least half of Democrat Times readers think the best strategy is to double down.

Khanna is annoying, aggressive and stupid.
Soros says: "Perfect".
Yes, that's the right thing to do.
It's surprising to see a Democrat do the right thing.
Maybe the legislation will have some hidden part which protects big pharma.
This commi jihadi Paki Khan wouldn’t do it. It is very likely he is trying to cover up something ;)
Democrat Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) is seizing on renewed public scrutiny of the Jeffrey Epstein case by demanding that all files, including the elusive “client list,” be made “publicly available.”
Khanna is introducing a high-profile amendment Tuesday aimed at forcing the release of all remaining files tied to Epstein’s vast and sinister network.
But while Khanna’s push for transparency may earn headlines, critics are already pointing out the glaring hypocrisy behind the sudden urgency.
Khanna’s proposed amendment to the GENIUS Act would require Attorney General Pam Bondi to publish all Epstein-related records on a public website within 30 days.
The move comes amid pressure from both sides of the aisle following leaked DOJ memos and ongoing questions about the extent of Epstein’s elite client network.
“Why are the Epstein files still hidden?” Khanna posted on X.
“Who are the rich & powerful being protected?”
“The Speaker must call a vote & put every Congress member on record,” he added.
“Let the chips fall where they may.” ...
A source familiar with the situation told media outlets that Bondi recently clashed with FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino over the memo leak and subsequent media fallout.
Khanna’s newfound enthusiasm for transparency has raised eyebrows, especially among conservatives who watched Democrats remain largely silent during the years when Epstein’s closest political ally, former President Bill Clinton, was at the center of it all.
Richard Grenell, former Acting Director of National Intelligence, mocked Khanna’s timing with a jab on X:
“I’ll take Something You Didn’t Ask For When Sleepy Joe Was in Charge for $500.” ...
Khanna responded by acknowledging the criticism but insisted that releasing the files now is more important than rehashing who failed to act before.
“I am just saying we should get the files out there on a bipartisan basis to restore trust,” Khanna replied.
“Let the chips fall where they may.”
In another post, Khanna attempted to justify his reversal:
“The criticism I am receiving is Biden should have done this. Fine.
“But what is good now for the public? ...
While Trump allies continue to call for full transparency, many view the Democrat shift toward investigating Epstein only now as politically convenient at best, and deeply opportunistic at worst.
However, it’s also likely no coincidence that by withholding the files, the Trump administration has provoked the Democrats into demanding the release of files that they previously fought to keep sealed.
Meanwhile, the American people still wait for real accountability in a case that has exposed the rot of global elites, raised serious questions about federal oversight, and revealed how insulated the wealthy and powerful can be, even in matters involving the most egregious crimes against children.
