Apparently, the hospital was a place where a lot of the staff stole patient's drugs and showed up to work frequently intoxicated.

I would expect more competent students wouldn't want to work there. There's plenty of horror stories where children with MINOR injuries were killed because of incorrect dosages. One little kid was hit by a car, she wasn't seriously injured but broke several baby teeth that had to be pulled. She was given an overdose of an anesthetic that killed her.

We need to live in a meritocracy. This helps everybody, black, white, Asian, Jewish, everybody. Silicon Valley was one once.

Unfortunately, we will have to live through generations of catastrophes knocking us halfway back to the stone age in order for people to realize and appreciate this fact. It's equality of opportunity, not equality of outcome.

You literally just mentioned every occupation on the planet. There's cocaine in the White House for fucks sake. Almost ALL your co-workers are high, drunk or on some big Pharma pill that messes with their brain. Or cocaine. Meth. List goes on and on. I don't think anyone realizes the amount of substance abuse that occurs. Anyone that says they're clean of any of this is a flat out liar and shouldn't be trusted.

I drink beer and the occasional edible. Those are my vices. Everyone around you lies even if you think you know them. People are on Benzo's and anti-depressesants that are equally as bad as opioids. Blood pressure meds can fuck with your body and mind. Everyone is on something. I stick to beer and weed. It's predictable.
