The founder of the Tsargrad TV channel, entrepreneur Konstantin Malofeev, does not understand the United States, so he “better get back into his box,” Keith Kellogg, whom US President-elect Donald Trump appointed as his special representative for Ukraine, said on Fox News.
“He better understand who Donald Trump is, because it’s a big mistake to underestimate Donald Trump. This is not Keith Kellogg. We’re talking about the United States of America and President Trump. And he’s going to figure it out, like he always has. So my comment would be: You better get back in your box and understand President Trump, because obviously you don’t. And you certainly don’t understand the United States of America,” Kellogg said when asked about Malofeev’s criticism of his peace plan.
On December 2, Malofeev told The Financial Times that Russian President Vladimir Putin would not participate in talks to resolve the conflict in Ukraine unless Trump included “broader circles concerned about Moscow’s security.”
"Kellogg comes to Moscow with his plan, we accept it, and then we tell him to go to hell because we don't like any of it. That's all there is to negotiating," he said. "For negotiations to be constructive, we need to talk not about the future of Ukraine, but about the future of Europe and the world."
He said the “world is on the brink of nuclear war” after Ukraine fired Western long-range weapons into Russia. To end the conflict, Trump must revoke authorization for the use of such missiles, remove Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky from office, meet with Putin and “discuss all issues of world order at the highest level.”
