Here’s facts: at the start of this conflict, Iran had an air force consisting of 325 aircraft. 2/3rds of those were built prior to 1980.

Since October my supposition is the rest of the Iranian Air Force has been obliterated. That’s a reasoned and measured assumption, considering there was zero attempt at intercepting the US bombers. Furthermore the Israelis had demolished the actually effective Iranian air defences(again proven by our bombers flying in unimpeded).

Iran can’t possibly support a land invasion of Israel without air support. So we have their crappy missles. And they hit some stuff. Just not always military targets because they are crap. They are good at blowing up but their targeting systems leave much to be desired(unlike the US whose targeting systems are designed by experts at aerospace companies such as Northrop Grumman.)
